AYSO National Player Fee: The AYSO player membership fee provides the mandatory insurance coverage for players, and it must be paid before a player may participate in any AYSO program or event. The fee runs August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025 and is $25.00. It expires on July 31 and must be renewed each year. This Fee is non-refundable. The $25 fee appears in the shopping cart at the very end of the checkout process, and is a separate line item. Wait List

In an attempt to create BALANCED TEAMS & schedules, each division has a limited number of roster spots. Player(s) attempting to register in Full divisions will be placed on WAIT LIST. Player(s) on that list are NOT necessarily guaranteed a roster spot and ONLY as space becomes available (first come, first served) will they be notified and placed on a team.

Coaches are NOT authorized to accept player(s), On-Time or Late Registrations, without the Regional Commissioner or Regional Registrar's approval.
 

Parental requests on the registration forms are NOT guaranteed.

 We try our best to honor requests while weighing all the factors that have to be managed and balanced in team assignments for over 500 kids.  Because AYSO is a balanced league, we do not take team/friend requests. We will not accommodate requests to be placed on specific teams or with specific players.
 

Balanced Teams

Because team balance is a core AYSO principle, Team Assignments are FINAL (no last minute changes can be made).  If there is a conflict with a practice night, arrangements can be made for your child to practice on another night with another team.

Refund Policy

All requests for a refund must be submitted in writing (email) to the registrar at [email protected]

AYSO Region 605 is a non-profit organization and incurs several non-refundable fees during your registration process. As a non-profit we recoup these costs from the registration fee we collect from you.  As a result, if a refund is requested before the cutoff date (below), the Region will refund your registration fee less twenty-five dollars ($25.00).  
No refunds will be issued after...
August 15th for the fall season
March 1st for the spring season. 

If the region has to cancel a season due to issues beyond our control, refunds will be limited to credit for future seasons only.

A Child may NEVER play down a Division.
A Child may only play up a division under Very Rare circumstances and only with AYSO 605 Board approval.

Excerpts of two portions of the AYSO Rules and Regulations that pertain to this matter are:

Article III(B):

The effective date of age determination shall be calendar year or the registrant’s age as of December 31 in the same year as the end of AYSO competition and end of Membership Year in accordance with US Soccer Player Development Initiatives mandates. Any variance requested by Regions or Areas must have Section Director approval, comply with US Soccer mandates, be memorialized in the Region’s or Area’s Policies and Protocols, and be duly registered with AYSO’s National Office. 

Article V:

The period of official membership shall be from August 1 through the following July 31 each year. 

The decision to move a player up an age division will take into account the five AYSO philosophies in addition to AYSO's goal of providing a SAFE, FUN & FAIR place to play soccer. Moving up an age division must always be in the best interest of the player before it will be allowed by Region 605.
